Cambridge Public Schools works with several programs for families of young children. While students are guaranteed access to Kindergarten and/or Junior Kindergarten, these programs have a more limited capacity, so programs are offered to families via application or lottery, as described below.

Children younger than 3 Years Old:

• Baby University
• Early Years Project
• Home-Based Early Childhood Education 

Children between the ages of 3-5 Years Old:

• Early Years Project
• Fletcher Maynard Scholar College
• Special Start
• Tobin Montessori School

Other Options for Early Childhood and Preschool Programs:
