Student Data Privacy in Cambridge Public Schools

TLE Seal“CPS strives to ensure the protection of our students’ privacy while at the same time enabling innovative uses of technology to support teaching and learning.”

CPS is proud to be one of seven districts across the nation to receive the CoSN Trusted Learning Environment Seal confirming our commitment to developing district procedures, policies, and practices that create a “Trusted Learning Environment”.

Our local policies and procedures ensure that our student data is always protected. We maintain a very thorough vetting process whenever we engage with third party vendors to provide online services to support teaching and learning in the classroom. A list of approved online applications, along with a description of each as well as the contract & privacy protections that are in place can be found here.
