Bus safety information
MOST IMPORTANT INFORMATION for School Year 2021-22
- Masks are no longer required on the bus as of March 14, 2022
- Windows required to remain open in all weather for COVID-19 safety reasons
- Arrive at your bus stop 10 minutes early
- Please review the bus safety rules with your child so they will be ready to have a safe trip
Where's My Bus Stop?
Students are automatically assigned to the closest bus stop from their home address. Use the
CPS Bus Finder to find your student’s stop.
Change Your Bus Stop
If your child needs to take the bus to or from another address in Cambridge, send the
Transportation Change Form to your school’s clerk.
Not Using the Bus? Notify Us
Contact the transportation department if your child is eligible to take the bus but will NOT be riding the bus. If your child does not take the bus for 5 days in a row and we don’t hear from you, their bus stop may be removed.

Lost & Found
Drivers hold onto lost items for 1-2 days. If your student loses an item on the bus, Ask the driver if they have found it, or contact the bus companies directly for help: Eastern Bus Company (big yellow bus), 617.628.6868 or NRT (van or small bus), 781.224.0003 x5
