Summer Book Distribution

Summer reading is an important part of reducing summer learning loss, providing a foundation for student success, and instilling a joy of reading. This summer, to improve access to summer reading books, CPS will provide books for students that will be distributed at their schools. Students in grades JK-7 will receive books that include fiction and informational, culturally relevant texts that reflect students’ interests, spark imagination, and keep them on their path to becoming lifelong readers.
