Students from the Cambridge Rindge and Latin School graduating classes of 2003-2025 who did not earn a diploma because of the MCAS requirement, may now request a transcript review to determine if they are eligible to receive a diploma.
As of December 5th, 2024, Massachusetts no longer requires the MCAS competency determination in order for a student to graduate. On May 6th, 2025, the Cambridge School Committee established new criteria for competency determination for Cambridge high school students.
Students from the graduating classes of 2003-2025 who did not earn a diploma because of the MCAS requirement may now request a transcript review. If their transcript demonstrates they have fulfilled the updated high school requirements, they will be awarded a diploma.
