In June and July, small, focused working groups reviewed existing data, findings, and commitments, and provided recommendations to the administration on strategic initiatives, including priorities, sequencing, conditions for success, and interdependencies.
The Working Groups are organized around four key areas of work aligned with Superintendent Greer’s Entry Plan:
- Accessible College & Career Pathways
- Ambitious Instruction & Effective Supports
- Effective Staff Learning & Support
- Welcoming & Supportive Schools & District

Many of the recommendations refer to how CPS implements the District Plan. CPS will continue to learn from these recommendations as part of the work ahead.
