Cambridge Educators receive support and sensory regulation materials in order to set up a quiet space in their classrooms for students to “reset” and calm without having to leave the classroom.
There is also a City Wide Social Emotional Advisory Group composed of District Leaders, principals, parents, Out of School time providers, and other community stakeholders. This group meets four times a year to strategize together about the best ways to move this work forward collaboratively so that all children in Cambridge are getting opportunities to grow using similar frameworks and common language.
