CRLS Tutoring Center with Cambrige School Volunteers (CSV)

The Tutoring Center, a program of Cambridge Rindge and Latin School and Cambridge School Volunteers, provides an environment in which all students can work toward their personal goals and achieve academic success.

Tutors are recruited, screened, and supervised by Cambridge School Volunteers (CSV) and are available to help in the center before school (8-8:30AM) and after school (3:15-4:15PM) to meet with students.

Did you have trouble with last night’s problem set? Drop-in Math and Science is another CSV program available in the Tutoring Center, Room 2403, for math or science support before school at 8AM. No registration is needed.

Students are invited to fill out CSV’s online tutor request form or come to room 1105 to ask for a tutor. Students are matched with a tutor for weekly sessions after CSV assesses their academic needs and schedule.

In addition, a student’s guidance counselor may refer a student for an Academic Support Class for tutoring during the school day.

Contact Megan Andres, CSV’s director of high school programs, for more information.
