UPDATE: Schools are Open
A safety assessment has been completed at all schools targeted by the bomb threat this morning. All schools have been assessed and remain open. If more details become known, an update will be posted online, however at this time we are proceeding with school as usual. Please know that the safety and security of our students and schools are our highest priority.

At 6:45AM this morning, Cambridge Public Schools was notified by the Cambridge
Police Department that they received an anonymous email that a bomb was
placed in a Cambridge middle school.
Schools are being assessed at this moment. Schools are open today and staff and students are encouraged to report as normal.
The
five buildings impacted by this threat would be the Amigos School, the
Peabody School that houses the Rindge Avenue Upper School, The Tobin
School that houses the Vassal Lane Upper School, the King Open School
that houses the Cambridge Street Upper School, and the
Kennedy-Longfellow School that houses the Putnam Avenue Upper School.
