The Technical Services Program supports and manages the CPS computer network. The Technical Services department maintains a network that will handle the all new facets of technology. With ever evolving technology, the Technical Services team works to ensure that all users of the CPS network are efficient.
The Technical Services Team works with each department in the district to ensure their technology is working properly throughout the year. The team is also responsible for all computer related technology, desktops, laptops, tablets, cell phones, VoIP phones, as well as the infrastructure behind the scenes to allow internet connectivity. The infrastructure consists of switches, routers, servers (virtual and physical), web filters, firewalls, and packet-shapers.
Also the Technical Services Team works with City IT to assist in support various technical platforms.
