CPS is requiring all students ages 12+ to be fully vaccinated in order to participate in CPS-sponsored before and afterschool activities, including athletics, clubs, visual and performing arts programs, and school-sponsored social events.
Beginning Monday, November 8, at 5pm, families can submit information via the Family Portal. Students ages 18+ may submit their information through a special student link via the Family Portal.
Families may request exemptions for medical or religious reasons or for students with special needs. Please be patient as we work together to collect and review student vaccination information. Vaccination deadlines are different for different activities.

YEC Resume Workshop Invitation

The Youth Employment Center (YEC) is hosting a Resume Workshop for CRLS students to get help putting together a resume to showcase their skills to employers. The workshop will take place in the Main Cafeteria. Bring your Chromebook if possible. More details >>
Non-CRLS students can schedule a time with YEC staff to work on their resume, apply to jobs, or practice interviewing. They can email YEC. YEC staff are generally available Mon-Fri 9AM-5PM.

Friends of CRLS (FOCRLS) Grants
Friends of CRLS (FOCRLS) is seeking grant proposals from teachers, administrators, librarians, guidance counselors, social workers, advisers, and liaisons who have creative ideas for energizing the learning experience for your students.
We will be awarding several grants up to $1,000 each to support educational and social development opportunities such as visits from accomplished guests, field trips, special events, group creations, performances, and service learning experiences.

Order Flatbread to Support CSV

Cambridge School Volunteers is a nonprofit organization (located in the CRLS building) supporting tutoring, mentoring, and classroom volunteer programs in the school district. We have a fundraiser coming up, and we need 2-3 enthusiastic & creative students to help us decorate a banner. Can you stay after school for a couple hours at CRLS and earn community service credit? You'll be cutting, pasting, and maybe painting a canvas banner and then enjoying Flatbread pizza (outside or a gift card if you prefer).
If you are interested in helping us with this one-time opportunity and earning community service hours along the way, then this low-commitment opportunity is for you! Meet one-to-one with a tutor once a week to receive support with one or more academic subjects and/or test preparation.

Meet one-to-one with a mentor once a week to explore and plan for your post-secondary life. This can include career and college research, college admission essay help, scholarship application support, etc.
