Music Corner
Mr. Cheng, our student teacher in music, has his last day at Haggerty on Friday, October 23. Thank you for all your time spent with our students and good luck, Mr. Cheng!
Kindergarteners will come home this week with their first Ask Me! sheets. Ask your child to share these songs with you. This will help children practice what they’re learning in music class. Let me know how it goes!

Get Involved: School Advisory Council
The Haggerty School Advisory Council (SAC) is made up of 4 parent representatives, 4 staff representatives, and 4 community members. It is a public meeting dealing with the administration of the school and other relevant issues.

Outcomes of Recent Election:
Thanks to everyone who voted in our recent School Advisory Council Election! We had four parents step-up to accept nominations to our SAC - thanks to all of them for their willingness to participate. We had many votes to count and the election was super close! The three parents who squeaked out the most votes were Caitlin Roberts, Darrin Johnson, and Sarah McLean.
We look forward to our upcoming year.

ARRIVAL NOTES FOR OUR STUDENTS
Our school day officially begins at 7:55AM. The front doors will be closed and locked at this time. Students arriving after the doors have closed will need to sign in using the computer in the main office. The computer will generate a tardy slip, which the student will bring to their classroom teacher. We greatly appreciate your help with this procedure.
