Sisters on the Runway Fundraiser & Spring Fashion Show
May 15th | 5PM | MIT Student Center
We are Sisters on the Runway, a student-run organization out of the Cambridge Rindge and Latin School. In Sisters we strive to raise awareness and funds by fighting for justice for survivors of domestic violence. This club has served as a communal experience and safe space for young women to share their experiences and stories while feeling truly heard. We engage in meaningful conversations and responsive actions connected to the essential issues of healthy relationships, misogyny and domestic violence. Our goal is to advocate for survivors of domestic violence and provide support through collaborating with domestic-violence centered operations.
Our goal is to raise $5,000 in community contributions. Every dollar up to the $2,500 mark will be matched by the Cambridge Community Foundation, Cambridge's local giving platform. Our fundraiser will lead up to our annual spring fashion show, which will take place on May 15th at the MIT Student Center.
