AP Exam Registration Deadline
For students taking a full-year and/or first semester AP course, registration for taking the AP exam is due November 4th. Students enrolled in second semester AP courses can register for those exams beginning at the start of the new semester.
Registration is a 3 Step Process:
1. Go to myap.collegeboard.org and "join class" using the registration code provided by your AP teacher.
2. When you join the class, your exam indicator defaults to Undecided. You MUST change this to YES if you want to take the exam.
3. Submit payment. Please use My School Bucks to complete your AP Registration (Here is a quick video on how to complete payment)
Each exam is $96. If you qualify for free/reduced lunch, the fee is $15 per exam.
Registration and Payment must be submitted before November 4th at 3:30PM.

FOCA Monthly Meetings
FOCA is back to their monthly meetings! Meetings are the second Tuesdays of the month.

Student Vaccination Portal Launches next Monday!
Stay tuned! Student Vaccination Portal will launch on Monday, November 8. This portal will offer a convenient method to submit the proper documentation for children 12 and older.
CRLS Parent-to-Parent Meetings
The CRLS Parent-to- Parent meeting is an informal group of caregivers who come together once a month to support each other through the challenges of parenting teens. Meetings are virtual for covid safety and accessibility.

Poster Contest Coming to CRLS!
Friends of CRLS (FOCRLS) Grants
Friends of CRLS (FOCRLS) is seeking grant proposals from teachers, administrators, librarians, guidance counselors, social workers, advisers, and liaisons who have creative ideas for energizing the learning experience for your students.
We will be awarding several grants up to $1,000 each to support educational and social development opportunities such as visits from accomplished guests, field trips, special events, group creations, performances, and service learning experiences.

Meet one-to-one with a mentor once a week to explore and plan for your post-secondary life. This can include career and college research, college admission essay help, scholarship application support, etc.

Seal of Biliteracy
Any CRLS Senior interested in pursuing the Seal of Biliteracy must take the ELA MCAS and a language assessment in order to qualify. Please take the ELA MCAS, if you have not already done so, and fill out this Google Form as soon as possible to schedule a language test. CRLS students in their first, second and third years may also take the Advanced Placement exam to qualify. Please email James Kelleher with any questions.
