Updates from Principal Smith

Good Afternoon CRLS Families,

After much feedback and consideration, I am happy to share the bell schedule for the 21-22 school year. We will be keeping some of the positive changes made this year while incorporating the original 4 block schedule.
View bell schedule >>

A few items to consider as you review the bell schedule:

  • The start and end of the school day will remain the same as it is this year.
  • The school day will start at 8:35AM and end at 3PM.
  • There will be three 30 minute lunch blocks - Lunch A, B, and C. The specific times have been included but there may be some adjustments in the times. Classroom and building locations that will go to lunch A/B/C are still being developed.
  • To help maintain a community wide focus on wellness and social emotional health, CM will occur twice per week and Advisory times will occur two days per week as well.
  • Classes will be slightly longer on Wednesdays since there will not be CM or Advisory occurring.
  • The bell schedule must meet the requirement for an average of 5.5 hours of instructional time per day and the requirement for 990 instructional hours for the school year.

Sincerely,
Principal Smith
