Seal of Biliteracy
During the coming weeks, the ELL and World Language Departments will be reaching out to CRLS seniors who may be eligible to receive the Seal of Biliteracy. The Seal is a new initiative that recognizes students who have achieved proficiency in two or more languages by graduation. Additional information and a student application to achieve the Seal at CRLS are available here.
The Seal of Biliteracy is a nationwide initiative that allows students to be recognized by colleges and employers for their achievement in languages. A number of current CRLS seniors have already been notified that they have received the Seal or the Seal with Distinction based on their ELA MCAS and junior year AP Language scores. We are happy to answer any questions about this new program. Hard copies of the student application are available in the World Language Laboratory Room 2210, the World Language Office Room 3407 or the International Student Center.
