Orienteering Events
Cambridge Sports Union (CSU) and Navigation Games are hosting orienteering events in Cambridge parks for the next four Sundays. Orienteering involves using a map and compass to find specific locations marked on the map in a specific order. At each location, there is an electronic device that gives you a time, and you get a printout of your times at the end. It's great fun and a great outdoor family event -- kind of like a big treasure hunt. Participants should just show up between 10 and 11:30AM and look for the blue awning. If you need instructions, someone will be happy to help. Suggested donation $1 to $5.
11/15 - Magazine Beach
12/6 - Danehy Park (New St. parking lot)
12/13 - Dana Park
12/20 - Magazine Beach

Parents/Guardians:
Help CRLS Students Explore Careers
I am working with a group of (mostly) seniors to create career exploration opportunities. I am seeking parents who are willing to host a student or a pair of students for a job shadow and/or informational interview at your workplace. The students I am working with are interested in many fields including:
Law, Medicine/Nursing, Public Health, Sports Management, STEM fields, Art, Hospitality/Event Planning, Kinesiology. If you are able to help out by sharing some of your expertise, please let me know. We are shooting for November and early December for these experiences. Thank you for considering this.
