Summer programs for current 5th-7th Graders
The CPS Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) department is offering three summer math programs for students who will be entering Grades 6-8 in September 2015.
- Students entering Grades 6-7 may be interested in "Summer AMP Prep" -- a free morning math course that will help students build problem-solving skills.
- Current 7th Graders who are excelling in "Grade Level Math" may wish to transfer into Accelerated Math for next year. Please speak with your child's math teacher to learn more, including about the summer "Bridge" program designed to help students make this transition.
- Students who are significantly behind in math may be invited to participate in a third program, "Math 180." We will contact you if we think this might be a good option for your student.
Registration forms and further information are posted online.
