Exciting News from Ms. Ford
We want to let you know about some exciting news at the Peabody. The 5th grade teachers, along with our Literacy Coach, have received a grant from the state of Massachusetts to pilot one of the DESE Model Curriculum Units in Literacy.  Ms. Bielecki, Mr. Kelly, and Ms. Vecchiarello will work closely with one another to create a cross content experience for the fifth grade. Library

From the Library
Our December Book Fair was a huge success in many ways! Each morning we greeted hordes of enthusiastic shoppers looking for the perfect book to read and treasure. We enjoyed a record-breaking number of parent volunteers; thank you to all of you who helped set up, run, and take down the fair. We broke our previous sales record and thus earned $1,341 to purchase new books for our library. Ms Bourne is currently pulling together a list of books to order. Look for the new additions to the collection some time at the beginning of February. Thank you for your continued support of our library and keep reading!

Third Grade

Used Books

Used Book Give-Away
Just in time for vacation, we cleaned our shelves and closets and collected some great books to share with our families.  Used books were available in the front lobby before and after school. Many students grabbed a handful with the "promise" they would read them over the break. Have a happy, safe, and restful vacation, and read a good book (or two, or three . . . )!

All School Share

All School Share...What are they?

All School Share is a monthly event that you are always invited to join us at. We gather in the Auditorium and each grade prepares something to perform that they are currently learning about in class. This may be songs, poems, mini plays, writing or projects the class decides to share.
