Tips from Mr. B and Ms. Croteau
Reading and writing for students in the early primary grades is like chips and salsa: so much better together! Many of the processes that students need to call upon as they read are parallel or complementary processes in writing. For example, students learning how to read need to learn how to look at print: to start on the left, move to the right, and move back to the left and down one line. News from 4th Grade: Ms. A's Class
The 4th graders have been studying the Northeast of the United States in our Social Studies classes. One of the landmarks we studied was the Lowell Mills. In the classroom, we learned about the mill workers. We studied their working schedule, daily lives, and how hard it was to work in the factories. To personally experience the mill, we took a field trip to the Lowell Mill Museum. Read more >>
All School Share...What are they?
All School Share is a monthly event that you are always invited to join us at. We gather in the Auditorium and each grade prepares something to perform that they are currently learning about in class. This may be songs, poems, mini plays, writing or projects the class decides to share.
