Estimadas familias,
Sinceramente,
Sarah Bartels-Marrero

There are two exciting events coming up related to the 8th grade trip to New York. I hope that you may be able to participate and enjoy. First, we invite you to join Cambridge resident and renowned best-selling author Junot Diaz, winner of the Pulitzer Prize and the MacArthur Genius Award, for an evening of bilingual discussion and reflection about his life, his literature, and the key lessons he’s learned along the way. Junot Diaz was born in the Dominican Republic and was raised in New Jersey. He is currently the fiction editor for the Boston Review and a Professor at MIT. Tickets are on sale in the Amigos Main Office. Second, the 8th grade is continuing their efforts by running the Spring Classic 5K on April 23, 2017. Members of the Amigos community will be running and walking this easy 3.2 mile course and would love your support. Follow this link to see how you can help!
Have a great weekend!
