Fifth Grade Field Trip
Two weeks ago, our 5th grade participated in a fantastic team building field trip. We hiked Fresh Pond Reservation. There was a scavenger hunt, we did the marshmallow challenge (ask your kids about it) and played some great trust games. We all enjoyed lunch and had a great day. Some of the students said it was the best field trip they ever went on!
Some thoughts from our fifth graders on the day…
“I loved the scavenger hunt and walking around the pond and seeing the geese and just being. I liked seeing the animals and seeing everything and living in the moment.”
“My favorite activity was the hike. It was fun to walk around the pond and look for things as a team. You didn’t feel like you were competing against other teams.”
“This field trip was one of the best field trips in the whole world!”
“We had a fun, natural, ecological and educational day. This trip is definitely one trip that I and a whole bunch of other kids will never, never forget. First field trip of fifth grade? Awesome!”
