  J. Ford

State of the School from Jennifer Ford
I wanted to share my annual State of the School thoughts with you. First, I would like to thank you for what has been a terrific year here at Peabody. Without our continued home/school partnership, we could not be the thriving school that we are. I received some questions through the Connection that I would like to answer. Read them >>

FOP

A Message from the Friends of Peabody
June 10, 2016 was the last Friends of Peabody (FoP) meeting for the school year. A BIG thank you to the FoP participants who are "moving on" to RAUC in the fall. This amazing group: Jessica Small, Kim McLaughlin, Kim Burke, and Susan Connelly (pictured here) tirelessly donated their time and energy for many years to help run the organization. We will miss them!

The FoP's mission is to raise money to help cover the costs of enrichment activities kids love including field trips and special events such as author, musician and science museum visits. The group is always looking for new parents, caregivers and teachers to get involved. Please contact Shalini Gautam for more information.

Library

A Message from Ms. Bourne
Dear Families,

THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU! Thank you to all of you who volunteered this year during the book fairs and during the school day, shelving and assisting with classes; your involvement makes our library program run smoothly. Thank you to those families who took the time to look over the library wishlist and donate titles you would like to see added to our collection; your generosity enables us to build a library collection that supports our ever-changing curriculum and inspires our students to read, read, read. Thank you to all of you who reminded your children to return their library books; your help allows us to maintain the wonderful collection we are building and teaches our students the importance of community responsibility. I wish all of you a happy and healthy summer and look forward to working with you and your children next school year.
