Dear Families,
It has been nice to see so many of you this week and I hope that Parent/Teacher conferences were a big success!
Our first week of PARCC testing went smoothly. Some students even reported enjoying the test!
Next week, we will continue with PARCC.
- 3rd, 6th, and 7th grades have testing on Monday, Thursday, and Friday
- 4th, 5th, and 8th grades have testing on Tuesday and Wednesday
Our Middle School Chorus and Musicians were invited to play at the Boston Temple 75th Anniversary Concert this weekend. Ms. Hamel will be leading them in this wonderful opportunity. If you are able to join the event, it will take place on Saturday, April 30 at 5:30PM.
Next week is also Teacher Appreciation Week. If you have the chance, please take a moment to thank your child’s teacher. Our teachers at Amigos work so hard and do their jobs with tremendous skill, dedication, and caring. I am continuously impressed with their work and thank them for their efforts to support all our students.

Estimadas familias,
Ha sido un placer ver a tantos de ustedes esta semana y espero que las conferencias de padres y maestros hayan sido un gran éxito!
Nuestra primera semana de las pruebas PARCC se realizó sin problemas. Incluso algunos estudiantes nos informaron que disfrutaron de la prueba!
La próxima semana, vamos a continuar con PARCC.
- 3º, 6º, y 7º grados tienen pruebas los lunes, jueves y viernes
- 4º, 5º, y 8º grados tienen las pruebas el martes y el miércoles
Nuestro coro y músicos de la escuela intermedia fueron invitados a participar en el concierto del 75 aniversario de Boston Templo este fin de semana. Sra. Hamel los va a apoyar con esta maravillosa oportunidad. Si ustedes pueden disfrutar del evento, se llevará a cabo el sábado, 30 de abril a las 5:30PM.
La próxima semana es la Semana de Agradecimiento a los Maestros. Si tiene la oportunidad, por favor tome un momento para agradecer al maestro/a de su hijo/a. Nuestros maestros en Amigos trabajan muy duro y hacen su trabajo con gran habilidad, dedicación y cuidado. Estoy constantemente impresionada con su trabajo y les agradezco sus esfuerzos para apoyar a todos nuestros estudiantes.
