Fifth Graders Begin Fifth Grade with
a Bang
Fifth Graders from Room 301 & 303 began the year giving a fabulous first impression to their teachers. Over the summer, 17 fifth graders worked on math, Spanish, and reading activities to keep their skills fresh. They documented their reading in a variety of genres and enjoying showing off their book projects to their classmates during the first full week of school. Read more >>

Breakfast in the Classroom
Second grade students in Room 307 have really been enjoying their breakfast this year - in the classroom! FMA cafeteria staff, custodians, administrators, and teachers have been working hard to provide students with a healthy, community-based start to every day by participating in Cambridge's breakfast-in-the-classroom program for the first time ever! Halloween Party 2015

Wow, September went by fast. October is here and with it comes crisp autumn air, baked apples and Halloween. That’s right friends, the annual Halloween party is back! Fletcher Maynard Academy in collaboration with the Fletcher Maynard Community School are planning a fun filled evening of games, music and not-so-scary surprises! This fall the Fletcher Maynard Community School is offering two fantastic adult fitness classes.
Kundalini Yoga – Tuesdays | 6:15PM
Kundalini Yoga, called the yoga of awareness, brings together breath, movement, meditation and sound in each class. We focus on not just strengthening the physical aspects of the body but also bringing balance to the glandular system and the energy centers. Led by instructor: Param Sevak Kaur (Jennifer Woodward). Wear comfortable clothes.
Adult Bollywood Fitness Class – Wednesdays | 4:30PM
With Instructor Renu Goyal East Meets West for a fun and high energy work out! Wear comfortable clothes and bring a water bottle.

FMA PTO
The FMA PTO strives to: make every FMA child’s potential a reality by engaging and empowering our families and community to advocate for every single FMA student, organize educational and social events that bring families together (Information sessions, discussions, and support parents and scholars), support FMA classroom teachers and faculty, support FMA international and local travel opportunities.
