Free COVID-19 Vaccine Clinic @ CRLS

Vaxx Clinic
December 15 | 3:30-7:30PM
The clinic will offer free Pfizer pediatric and adult COVID-19 vaccines. Please note:

  • Appointments are required at this clinic. Due to expected high demand, walk-ins will not be accepted. To make an appointment, register here.
  • Children ages 5 to 11 can receive their first dose of COVID-19 vaccine at the Dec. 15 clinic. This clinic cannot accommodate children who need their second dose.
  • People ages 12 and older can receive their first dose of COVID-19 vaccine at the Dec. 15 clinic. This clinic cannot accommodate individuals who need their second dose.
  • Booster Vaccines will not be available.
  • FluMist will be available to people ages 2 to 49 at the Dec. 15 clinic who have an appointment for a COVID-19 vaccine.

To make a COVID-19 vaccine appointment for you or a family member, register here. A follow-up clinic will be held on Jan. 5 to provide a second dose of vaccine to children and adults who received their first dose at the Dec.15 clinic.

Nurses will be available to speak with anyone who has vaccine questions.

You do not need an ID, Social Security Number, or health insurance for the free vaccines. However, if you have a health insurance card, please enter the information when you register for your appointment.

The vaccination clinic is hosted by the City of Cambridge, Cambridge Public Health Department and the Cambridge Public Schools.

Important Reminder for Families and Teens: All children age 15 or younger must be accompanied by a parent or caregiver. Older teens (age 16–17) can come by themselves to the clinic.

CPS is requiring all students ages 12+ to be fully vaccinated in order to participate in CPS-sponsored before and afterschool activities, including athletics, clubs, visual and performing arts programs, and school-sponsored social events. More details >>

Participatory Budgeting

Participatory Budgeting
As part of its 8th Participatory Budgeting (PB) Cycle, the City of Cambridge invites CRLS students, staff, and families to vote on projects to improve the City from December 3-12, 2021. This process is open to all Cambridge residents, including non-U.S. citizens and university students. To vote, and for more information, visit online or call the Cambridge Budget Office at 617.349.4270.

Community Service Opportunity

Still need to fulfill your community service requirements? Cambridge School Volunteers (CSV) needs your help folding letters and stuffing envelopes to raise funds to maintain tutoring and mentoring in the Cambridge Public Schools from pre-K-12th grade.

Amnesty International @CRLS will host a donation drive on Saturday, December 11, between 12-2PM. Donations will be in the form of household/personal items and gift cards. Donations will be delivered to IINE (International Institute of New England) in order to support their efforts to resettle refugees in MA and NH. AI@CRLS students will set up in front of the Main Entrance to collect donations. Feel free to contact Sami with any questions.

Come see The Skin of Our Teeth!

Come support your CRLS classmates in The Skin of Our Teeth, directed by Mr. Cramp, a play about the five thousand year old Antrobus family and resilience in the face of adversity. As we follow the Antrobus' journey through Ice Age, a flood, and the aftermath of war, we ask ourselves, how do we protect our planet? How can we accept our differences, rather than fear them? This will be our first play in the Fitzgerald Theater since March 2020. We hope you can join us!

Performances: Fri 12/3*, Sat 12/4, Fri 12/10, and Sat 12/11* at 7 PM and Sun 12/12 at 2 PM (*these performances will also be live streamed)

Tickets are free, but reservations are recommended here. Reservations will be needed to access the live stream link.

We need student ushers! Students who are interested in ushering should fill out this form. You will receive community service hours for this!

COVID-19 Vaccine for CRLS Students

If you are a CRLS student and need the COVID-19 vaccine, schedule an appointment at the Teen Health Center! We will be offering appointments on Fridays from 9AM-1PM at the Teen Health Center. The COVID-19 vaccine is FREE.

Call 617.665.1548 or walk-in to the clinic to schedule an appointment in person. NO WALK-IN APPOINTMENTS, you must schedule in advance.

  • Anyone 12-15 years old must come to the appointment with a parent/guardian.
  • Anyone 16 -17 years old may come alone but must have two signed consent forms (one from the state and one from CHA)*.
  • Anyone 18 years old and above may come alone.
