Message from Family Liaison


Hello Morse Community, I hope you’re doing well as we enjoy these last few weeks of fall! Thank you to the families that came out to support on Saturday for our Walking Taco event at Danehy Park. I look forward to meeting more families at the Morse Parent/Caregiver coffee hour.

School Council Meeting this Thursday


November 18 | 6-7:30PM, Zoom
Our next School Council meeting will take place this Thursday, November 18th. At our meeting, Dr. Leith will share updates and an updated draft of the Morse School Improvement Plan. All Morse School parents and caregivers are invited to attend. The meeting will be virtual. Please click here to register to attend. You will receive a Zoom link via email on Thursday afternoon. No Pool Testing at School, 11/22 - 11/24


No pool testing at school the week of Thanksgiving, 11/22-11/24. Also, there will be no community COVID testing in Cambridge that week at the usual sites on Wednesday, 11/24 through Saturday, 11/27.

Families who need testing during that time are encouraged to plan accordingly and be tested in the community on Sunday, 11/21 at from 2-6PM. at 50 Church Street or on Monday 11/22 from 4-8PM, on the 3rd floor inside the CambridgeSide mall. Use the escalator near the Cheesecake Factory on the CambridgeSide Place end of the mall or take the elevator to go to the 3rd level for testing. Free parking is available in the lower level of the parking garage and the entrance is located on CambridgeSide Place.

Sibling Search Survey - JK/K Lottery


The sibling search survey has begun as of November 8th and will end on Wednesday, January 12, 2022. This year the JK/K Lottery will begin on Monday, January 3rd, 2022 and end promptly in our online system at 4PM on Monday, January 31st. This deadline applies to any family submitting an application online, paper application in person or emailed.

THIS FRIDAY! 4th Grade Swim, 11/19


To the families/caregivers of 4th grade students:

We hope this message finds you all doing well and staying safe! We are excited to begin our Elementary Swim Program - Session #2 Swim Unit on 11/19/21 at the War Memorial Pool.

To prepare for your child’s swim experience, please review the Morse Copy of the Elementary Swim Program Presentation. Also, we would appreciate your completion of this Google Form (on slide 3) to input important information and any questions/concerns you may have.

We look forward to seeing the students of the Morse School community at the pool very soon!

Secret Santa For Seniors

November 16 - December 17
Now in its 15th year, the Cambridge Police Department's "Secret santa for seniors" gift drive is focused on bringing much needed cheer and items for seniors this holiday season. Donation boxes can be found outside the main entrance and items can be donated at any time during the day.
