Hello CRLS Families and Caregivers,

I hope this email finds you well and settled into another season.

CRLS is offering Virtual Family-Teacher Conferences on October 28, November 4, 12, and 18. The CRLS Conference Registration system is now open. We are using a new online registration system created for CRLS Family/Caregiver Conferences. It looks somewhat different then the previous CRLS PTC scheduler but operates the same way and is adapted to virtual conferencing.

Here is how to get started:

STEP 1: Visit the CRLS Conference web page here and click on Sign Up.

STEP 2: Login to the Conference Scheduling system. If you have an existing Back-to-School portal account then, this uses the same login credentials. If not then, please register and make an account. If you forgot your password, click on ‘Forgot Password’ and follow the prompts.

STEP 3: After logging in, please select the teachers and time slot that works best for you. (conferences are 10 minutes in duration)

STEP 4: Select the method you would like for teachers to contact you- Phone or Video (Zoom) meeting. After completing the process, an email will be sent to the primary parent email address on file in Aspen with the information.

Tips:

• Please make sure you don’t book overlapping conferences and leave yourself 10 minutes in between each conference in case you experience a delay or technical problem.


• The teachers will reach out to you during your scheduled time slot. Please make sure you log into your email or answer your phone at the time slots you selected.


• If you cannot make your appointment please cancel in advance so the slot is available for other families by revisiting the scheduling system and clicking on ‘Cancel Appointment’.

When scheduling a conference please consider that although it’s nice to have face-to-face time with the teacher there are almost two thousand students and time is limited. We need to make space for all families. For equity reasons, If you are in regular communication with your child’s teachers and on top of your child’s work please take a step back and allow time for families that need extra support.
