Math MCAS
On Tuesday, May 21st and Wednesday, May 22nd, all 10th grade students will be taking the Math MCAS exam. Only 10th graders will come to school at 8:05AM to take the exam. While the test is scheduled for 8:05 - 11:08AM, the test is untimed and students will have until the end of the day to finish if needed.
To help maintain a quiet and organized testing experience students in grades 9, 11 & 12 will have a delayed opening and come to school at 11AM for the last two blocks for the day. 10th Grade students will be dismissed from school after they are finished with the test.
Because the exam is being administered online students need to bring their fully charged Chromebooks to school. Students should also bring a calculator to the test on May 22nd in case they would rather use a physical calculator instead of the online calculator that will be made available.
Also, June 4th and June 6th- 9th graders will take the Science MCAS exam. More information to follow.
RSTA Class of 2019 Seniors Celebrate
On the evening of May 9, seniors in the CRLS Class of 2019 and family members packed the Media Cafeteria to celebrate the completion of their RSTA programs, many of them being awarded the Certificate of Occupational Proficiency, given to successful completers of Level 3 (advanced) courses in their respective majors. Families of the seniors, and almost all RSTA faculty members, were present to recognize the students’ achievements.
Welcoming and congratulatory comments were made to the gathering by Cambridge Superintendent of Schools, Dr. Kenny Salim, by CRLS Principal Damon Smith, and by School Committee members Fred Fantini, Patty Nolan, and Emily Dexter. Read on >>
