Founded in 2012, we currently serve communities across the Greater Boston area via partnerships with a network of local social service agency partners. We collect and redistribute gently-used furniture and home goods, supplemented with purchased items where needed.

Harvard

Harvard Internship Program
CRLS Juniors and Seniors can get paid to work at Harvard this school year by participating in the Harvard Internship Program. Grow your job skills and your savings, and you’ll be able to put Harvard down on your resume. Come to the Youth Employment Center (CRLS Room 2101) any day during lunch to grab an application and sign up for an interview time. Jobs can vary, but most involve working in an office or library. This is an 8 hour per week afterschool commitment that runs until June.

Questions? Please contact Ken Bowers at 617.349.6272. This program is offered through the City of Cambridge Office of Workforce Development and the Harvard Union of Clerical and Technical Workers.

First Work Program
The First Work Program is a part of the Cambridge Public Schools and is intended to offer part-time, before and after-school, hourly employment to “employment inexperienced” youth attending Cambridge Rindge & Latin School. Students who are enrolled in grade 9 or grade 10 (up to age 15) can apply for acceptance into the program. The jobs are primarily located in various schools in the district. The students’ wages ($8.80/hr.) are paid for by the City of Cambridge and they can work UP TO 10 hours a week. They must be supervised by an adult at all times. Please email Jaci Rubin to learn more information.
