FMA Talks About Race
In the 1940s pioneering psychologists Kenneth and Mamie Clark used dolls to study children’s attitudes and self-perceptions about race. While looking at two identical dolls (except for skin, eye, and hair color) the study asked children 9 questions. The results of this study were shocking.

5th Grade Writers' Open House Success
On February 13 the fifth grade hosted an open house where visitors listened to FMA 5th grade scholars recite their original poetry. Afterwards the visitors engaged in a question and answer with the 5th grade poets about their poetry.

Animals in their Habitats
