From the Chief Information Officer
Thank You!
It’s been a little over six months since our last newsletter. In that edition, I talked about our upcoming move to Gmail. I want to extend a large Thank You to everyone for such a smooth implementation. Smooth and seamless transitions, especially large ones that affect all members of a large organization like CPS, do not happen without a great deal of planning and preparation. Not only did ICTS staff work hard on this transition, but all staff members deserve recognition for contributing to the smooth roll out of Gmail. Thank you all!
Moving forward, ICTS is focused on supporting the CPS District Plan Framework. The action plans being developed now present many opportunities for ICTS support. Initially, there is already renewed efforts to improve CPS’s communication services to promote family and community engagement. In addition, increased access to actionable data is also an immediate action item being addressed.
ICTS is very excited to align our work and departmental planning to support the District Plan Framework. We are expecting some exciting improvements over the next 6 to 18 months.
