Dear Families,
As many of you know, one of the strategic objectives of our School Improvement Plan this year
is focused on Social and Emotional learning. As part of this work, we have continued to develop
our school-wide behavior expectations in what we call our “behavior matrix”. You will now be able to see a visually enhanced behavior matrix displayed on the board at the top of the stairs
by the main entryway. I encourage you to take a moment to look at this and discuss it with your
child/ren because as a community we need to work together to support the growth and
development of our students.

Como muchos de ustedes saben, uno de los objetivos estratégicos de nuestro Plan de Mejoramiento Escolar de este año se centra en el Aprendizaje Social y Emocional. Como parte de este trabajo, hemos continuado desarrollando nuestras expectativas de comportamiento en toda la escuela en lo que llamamos nuestra "matriz de comportamiento". Ahora podrá ver una matriz de comportamiento visualmente mejorada en la pizarra de la parte superior de las escaleras por la entrada principal. Les animo a que tomen un momento para mirar esto y
discutirlo con sus hijos/as. Como comunidad necesitamos trabajar juntos para apoyar el crecimiento y desarrollo de nuestros estudiantes.
