The K-12 Edtech marketplace is soaring right now with an influx of new solutions taking advantage of increased access and mobile devices in all schools. The majority of these tools are very powerful resources developed to support teaching and learning. Over the past five years the number of CPS approved and supported online resources has increased dramatically. In addition a number of core systems have been upgraded. This rate of adoption and change can be stressful and there appears to be no slow down in the rapid rate of technological change. Read on >>

Last month, students and teachers across Cambridge participated in the Hour of Code global event sponsored by Code.org and aligned with Computer Science Education Week. CPS Media Arts Studio Goes HD
The Media Arts Studio opened in 2005 with what was state-of-the-art equipment at that time. But much has changed since then, and this spring we began the complicated process of upgrading our studio to a high definition, fully digital environment. The end result is everything we could hope for to better educate our students for the media making world of today. See what's happening in the classrooms >>
