Dear Families,
We had a wonderful School Spirit Assembly this week! Our theme for this week was “Exceeding Expectations and Challenging Your Limits”. We started with our school chant and then the 1st grade students sang “Man in the Mirror”. Our 8th graders MC’d the event and shared strategies for testing, making cultural connections and perseverance. The 3rd grade shared with us some juggling skills and cultural dancing they’ve been learning in PE class with Ms. Green and we enjoyed some “Shout Outs”. Finally we ended the assembly with the whole school singing “La escalada” or “The Climb”, a song about perseverance and working hard.
Have a wonderful April vacation!
Sincerely,
Sarah Bartels-Marrero

Estimadas familias,
Sinceramente,
Sarah Bartels-Marrero
