RACHEL B. WEINSTEIN is a proud product of and parent in the Cambridge Public Schools. She has extensive experience working with a variety of schools, including stints as a Paraprofessional at the Graham and Parks School and a family engagement innovator in a middle school in San Francisco. Since 2011, Rachel has served as the Chief Collaboration Officer for the Boston Compact, coordinating the partnership of Boston’s district, Charter and Catholic schools. In this capacity, she has catalyzed productive professional relationships across a diverse array of educators as they establish a path forward that benefits children and families across Boston. Rachel also has worked on education policy with elected officials. Among other things, she ran the home office of the California State Senate President, working in partnership with a wide range of constituents and community members. Rachel looks forward to collaborating with colleagues on the School Committee and throughout the broader school community to realize the district’s vision of seeing all students engaged in “rigorous, joyful, and culturally responsive learning.”
