Elizabeth Hudson

E. Hudson

ELIZABETH HUDSON and her husband live in Cambridge with their four children. Their family chose Cambridge for its strong public schools, particularly the Mandarin Immersion Program at Martin Luther King, Jr. School.

Member Hudson earned her undergraduate degree from Yale University and completed a Ph.D. in neuroscience before transitioning into the field of industrial robotics at Symbotic, which brought her to the Boston area. She later served as Chief Technology Officer at a Boston-based biotech venture capital firm and as Vice Chair of the Advisory Board for the Harvard & Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics, where she helped raise funds to support basic scientific research. She currently serves as an Intelligence Officer in the United States Navy Reserve and is in her second term on the Cambridge School Committee.

Member Hudson’s professional path reflects her deep passion for math and science. She credits the strong foundation she received from the public schools in Pittsburgh, where she grew up, for shaping her opportunities and success. She is committed to ensuring that Cambridge students have access to the same high-quality education—one that equips them with the skills needed to thrive in a modern, evolving economy.
