Arjun Jaikumar

ARJUN JAIKUMAR is deeply committed to educational equity, transparent governance, and student-centered decision-making. He believes that strong public schools are essential to a thriving, inclusive community and that thoughtful local leadership plays a critical role in bringing joyful and culturally responsive learning to all students.  

Member Jaikumar currently works as an Assistant Attorney General in the Constitutional and Administrative Law Division of the Massachusetts Office of the Attorney General. Previously, he practiced law in the private sector at WilmerHale and served as a law clerk for two federal judges. He holds a B.S. degree from Northwestern University and a J.D. degree from Columbia Law School. 

Member Jaikumar is the proud parent of a CPS student and has served on the Graham and Parks School Council and as an officer of Friends of Graham and Parks. He has also coached for Cambridge Youth Soccer, performed with the North Cambridge Family Opera, and served a four-year term on the Democratic State Committee.
