MAKING MINDFULNESS STICK...
Do you work with children or teens? Do you have kids or teens at home? Do you wonder how to be more present and mindful, and how teach mindfulness and compassion to kids, teens, families, and schools? Please join us for this day-long workshop with mindfulness expert Dr. Christopher Willard:

CHA Center for Mindfulness and Compassion in collaboration with Healthy Harvard. This will be a practical workshop tailored to therapists, counselors, school administrators, teachers and parents. We will focus on bringing mindfulness skills to young people in our lives and on becoming more mindful ourselves.

Reminders from the School Nurse

  • If your child is sick please do not send them to school
  • If your child has had a physical in the last 6 months please send in an updated copy on the first day of school
  • If your child has anything contagious please notify the school nurse
  • If your child has lice please notify the nurse so the rest of the class can be checked at home by their parent or guardian
  • If your child is diagnosed with anything at the doctor’s office please notify the nurse so that appropriate care can be given while at school. A doctor’s note may be required.
  • If your child has an epi-pen, inhaler, or any medication that needs to be given in school please bring in the medication in it’s original box, updated doctors note, and parent permission form.  CHILDREN WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO GO ON SCHOOL FIELD TRIPS IF THEY DO NOT HAVE THEIR EPI-PENS OR INHALERS IN SCHOOL.
