Estimadas familias,
                         
¡Bienvenidos a junio! Este es un mes muy ocupado de excursiones, eventos de fin de año y celebraciones. Como vieron en el Boletín Semanal del Superintendente Greer, junio es el Mes Nacional de la Herencia Caribeña y el Mes del Orgullo LBGTQ+. Juneteenth también se celebra el 19 de junio pero el 20 de junio es un día festivo escolar. Cambridge celebrará su primer Día del Orgullo LBGTQ+ Comunitario el viernes 10 de junio de 3:30 a 6:30 en CRLS. 

COVID
Esta semana 5 personas de nuestra comunidad han dado positivo en la prueba de COVID. Por favor, sigan manteniendo a su hij@ en casa si él/ella/elle muestra algún síntoma. También, si su hij@ da positivo a Covid en casa o fuera de la escuela, por favor avísenme a mí o a la enfermera Tamara para que podamos tener un registro lo más preciso posible.

Día de salida temprana
Por favor, tengan en cuenta que Amigos no tiene un día de salida temprana el 8 de junio. Nuestro día de salida temprana es el 24 de junio y l@s estudiantes saldrán a las 11:30AM. Por favor, marquen esta importante fecha en su calendario.

Dear Amigos Families,

Welcome to June! This is a busy month of field trips, end of year events and celebrations. As you saw in Superintendent Greer’s Weekly Newsletter, June is National Caribbean Heritage Month and Pride Month. Juneteennth is also celebrated on June 19 with June 20 being a school holiday. Cambridge will also be holding its 1st Ever Community Pride Day on Friday, June 10 from 3:30-6:30PM at CRLS.

COVID
5 individuals in our community tested positive for COVID this week. Please continue to keep your child home if he/she/they show any symptoms. Also, if your child tests positive for COVID at home or outside of school, please let me or Nurse Tamara know so we can have as accurate records as possible.

Early Release Day
Please note that Amigos does NOT have an Early Release Day on June 8th. Our Early Release Day is on June 24 and students will be dismissed at 11:30AM. Please mark this important date on your calendar.
