Morse Cookbook

At Morse we usually have an International Night Buffet, which is one of our most fun events of the year. This year we are putting together a cookbook to capture the international flavor of our unique Morse School community. Recipes must be received by November 15 to appear in the cookbook, which will be available before winter break: a free PDF for download and full-color printed copies for purchase. (What a wonderful gift for the holidays for all the avid cooks on your list!) All families are welcome to participate!

CityStep

CityStep is a team of Harvard undergraduate students committed to the arts. They have been a partner to the Cambridge Public Schools, offering a free arts education to students in the 5th, 6th, and 7th grade.Throughout every CityStep year, our students (aka CitySteppers!) explore dance, theater, music, and more to develop both performance and personal skills! Traditionally, this culminates in an end-of-year show!

Morse Marathon - 11/9

This year’s Morse Marathon will take place at Magazine Beach Park (located on the other side of the Memorial Drive footbridge). The Morse Marathon is not only an event to promote fitness and community, it is also a fundraising event for our school. Money raised through events like this one directly benefits your children, by helping to pay for field trips, learning materials, and enrichment activities. You can donate by completing the pledge sheet that went home in your student runner’s backpack, or by making an online contribution through the Friends of Morse website. If you are interested in attending or volunteering at this year's marathon, please contact Elaine Delaney.
