Please review the End-of-Year information below. There is a lot to cover in these last few weeks!!
COMPUTER AND SUPPLY RETURN
We are requesting that all students in grades JK-8 please return the device(s) with charger to their school by the last day of school on Wednesday, June 23, 2021. If you can’t make it to Amigos by the 23rd, the CPS Helpdesk at CRLS will also be open for students/families to return Chromebooks, Hotspots and chargers from 8AM -4PM on the following dates - June 24, 25, 28, 29, 30 and July 1 and 2.
The return of Chromebooks will greatly facilitate ICTS in assessing and preparing these devices for the start of the school year.
Students participating in CPS summer programs will also have the option to return their Chromebook at the end of their summer program or hold onto it until the start of the school year.
Students who would benefit from keeping their CPS Chromebook/Hotspot during the summer are asked to bring it with them when they return to school on Thursday, September 9, 2021. Please note that by providing this access through the summer, ICTS will not be able to assess/repair/replace some Chromebooks until the start of the school year, and we request your support and patience during that time.
Students who have been learning remotely should also return their math material kits so that they will have them available for next year.
LIBRARY RETURNS
Please return ALL library books and materials to the building prior to June 23!
FOA AUCTION
Our FOA Online Subasta begins today and runs through the weekend! Items include: Iggy’s, Porter Square Books, Henry Bear’s Park, Otto Pizza, Old Sturbridge Village, Charles River Canoe and Kayak, and more!! Come on by and see what interests you!

COVID
Please remember that even though things are opening up again and cases are down, COVID is still with us. Students who are not feeling well should not come to school unless they are fever free for 24 hours without fever reducing medication.
JK-5 FIELD DAY
Our JK-5 Field Day is on June 17th. As part of the recent school committee motion for playdates, all students both in-person and remote are invited to participate. For remote families, please confirm with Ms. Libby if your child will be attending and whether or not they will need transportation. This event is for students and staff.
UPPER SCHOOL MATH
CPS Summer Morning Math (Rising grade 6, 7 & 8th grade students)
Virtual, July 6 - July 30, 2021 | 9AM - 12NOON
The upper school morning math program is designed for students entering grades 6 - 8 (current 5th-7th graders) who enjoy math, logic, and problem solving, want to boost their grades and enhance their understanding and confidence in math, and are interested in discovering the beauty of mathematics. This is a four-week program (July 6 - July 30), which will run 9AM-12 Noon, including live virtual sessions and independent activities.

CAMBridge Program (Rising grade nine students)
Algebra 1: July 6 - August 13 2021
In the Summer, this program will focus on providing a space for rising 9th graders to engage in Algebra 1 content (Summer 2021).
If you are interested in having your student participate in this program this Summer, please fill out this application form.
- Once you fill out an application, we will confirm enrollment with a registration link, prior to the program’s start.
- Our goal is to allow ANY and ALL rising 9th graders the opportunity to
participate in working through these modules. There are other programs who will be utilizing our modules: Rise-Up, OSS. If your student is registered for one of these programs then they do not need to apply to the CAMBridge Program.

CHROMEBOOKS/COMPUTADORAS Y MATERIALES
Estamos pidiendo que todos l@s estudiantes en los grados JK-8 por favor
devuelvan los Chromebook con cargadores a la escuela antes del último día de clases el miércoles, 23 de junio de 2021. Si usted no puede llegar a Amigos para el 23 de junio, el CPS Helpdesk en CRLS también estará abierto para que l@s estudiantes / familias puedan devolver Chromebooks, Hotspots y cargadores de 8AM - 4PM en las siguientes fechas - 24, 25, 28, 29, 30 de junio y 1, 2 de julio.
Devolver los Chromebooks facilitará en gran medida a ICTS la evaluación y
preparación de ellos para el inicio del año escolar.
L@s estudiantes que participan en los programas de verano de CPS también tendrán la opción de devolver su Chromebook al final de su programa de verano o mantenerlo hasta el inicio del año escolar.
L@s estudiantes que se beneficiarían de mantener su Chromebook/Hotspot de CPS durante el verano se les pide que lo traigan con ellos cuando regresen a la escuela el jueves, 9 de septiembre de 2021. Tenga en cuenta que al proporcionar este acceso durante el verano, ICTS no será capaz de evaluar / reparar / reemplazar algunos Chromebooks hasta el inicio del año escolar, y pedimos su apoyo y paciencia durante ese tiempo.
L@s estudiantes que han estado aprendiendo a distancia también deben devolver sus materiales de matemáticas para que los tengan disponibles para el próximo año.
LA BIBLIOTECA
Por favor, devuelvan TODOS los libros y materiales de la biblioteca al edificio antes del 23 de junio.

COVID
Por favor, recuerde que aunque las cosas se están abriendo de nuevo y los casos cada día son menos, COVID todavía está con nosotros. L@s estudiantes que no se sienten bien no deben venir a la escuela a menos que estén libres de fiebre por 24 horas sin medicación para reducir la fiebre.
DÍA DE CAMPO JK-5
Nuestro día de campo para JK-5 es el 17 de junio. Como parte de la reciente moción del comité escolar para los días de juego, todos l@s estudiantes tanto presenciales como remotos están invitados a participar. Para las familias remotas, por favor confirmen con la Sra. Libby si su niñ@ asistirá y si ell@s necesitarán el transporte. Este evento es para l@s estudiantes y el personal.
MATEMÁTICAS DE LA ESCUELA INTERMEDIA
Matemáticas matutinas de verano de CPS (estudiantes de 6º, 7º y 8º grado)
Virtual, Julio 6 - Julio 30, 2021 | 9 AM - 12 Mediodía
El programa matutino de matemáticas de la escuela intermedia está diseñado para l@s estudiantes que ingresan a los grados 6 - 8 (actuales alumnos de 5º a 7º grado) que disfrutan de las matemáticas, la lógica y la resolución de problemas, quieren aumentar sus calificaciones y mejorar su comprensión y confianza en las matemáticas, y están interesados en descubrir la belleza de las matemáticas. Se trata de un programa de
cuatro semanas (del 6 al 30 de julio), que se desarrollará de 9 a 12 de la mañana, incluyendo sesiones virtuales en directo y actividades independientes. Inscríbase en línea o póngase en contacto con Kelley Leary por correo electrónico.
Programa CAMBridge (estudiantes de noveno grado)
Álgebra 1: 6 de julio - 13 de agosto 2021
En el verano, este programa se enfocará en proveer un espacio para que l@s estudiantes del noveno grado se involucren en el contenido de Álgebra 1 (verano 2021).
Si usted está interesado en que su estudiante participe en este programa este verano, por favor llene esta solicitud.
- Una vez que llene la solicitud, confirmaremos la inscripción con un enlace de registro, antes del inicio del programa.
- Nuestro objetivo es permitir que TODOS l@s estudiantes de 9º grado tengan la oportunidad de participar en estos módulos. Hay otros programas que utilizarán nuestros módulos: Rise-Up, OSS. Si su estudiante está inscrito en uno de estos programas entonces no necesitan aplicar al Programa CAMBridge.
