Dear Families
It's been another great week here at Amigos! The students are getting used to the routines and so are we! As we move further into the school year, we will be organizing materials for students who will be studying and learning remotely. Over the next few weeks, please look for a message from your child’s teacher inviting you to come by the school and pick up a bag of supplies. We currently have set the schedule for instrument pick-up next week. You can find all the details regarding instrument pick up here.
Along those lines, I’d like to make sure that families are following all the AMAZING work our specialist teachers are doing. All students are required to participate in specialist classes such as library, physical education, art, music and health. You can find their virtual classrooms on our Distance Learning Site and I encourage you to visit them. You can read their welcome letters there and find amazing resources as well.
For the families of the students who will be coming to school in person on October 13th, we will be holding an informational session via Zoom on Thursday, October 8th from 6:30 - 7:30PM. You can also read through our In Person Teaching and Learning Document found here as well as in my virtual office.

¡Ha sido otra gran semana aquí en Amigos! Los estudiantes se están acostumbrando a las rutinas y nosotros también. A medida que avanzamos en el año escolar, organizaremos materiales para los estudiantes que estudiarán y aprenderán a distancia. En las próximas semanas, por favor busquen un mensaje del maestro de su hijo invitándolos a pasar por la escuela y recoger una bolsa de materiales. Actualmente hemos fijado el calendario para la recogida de los instrumentos la próxima semana. Pueden encontrar todos los detalles sobre la recogida de instrumentos aquí.
Esta semana me gustaría asegurarme de que ustedes, nuestras familias, sigan todo el INCREÍBLE trabajo que nuestros profesores especialistas están haciendo. Todos los estudiantes deben participar en clases especializadas como biblioteca, educación física, arte, música y salud. Pueden encontrar sus aulas virtuales en nuestro Sitio de Educación a Distancia y los animo a que las visiten. Pueden leer sus cartas de bienvenida allí y encontrar recursos muy útiles también.
Para las familias de los estudiantes que vendrán a la escuela en persona el 13 de octubre, tendremos una sesión informativa por Zoom el jueves, 8 de octubre de 6:30 a 7:30PM. También pueden leer nuestro Documento de Enseñanza y Aprendizaje en Persona que se encuentra aquí y en mi oficina virtual.
