Still Need to Apply for School Meal Benefits?

It’s not too late to apply! If you qualified for Free or Reduced price meals last year based on your income but have not reapplied for this school year by October 30th, your meal benefits status will change to the paid status.

If you think you will qualify for school meal benefits, apply online or print out an application to mail in. Online applications are processed faster, as our office receives mail intermittently.

Additional school meal benefits include:
–Free or discounted MBTA passes for CRLS students
–Comcast provider discounts
–Future pandemic-EBT funding
–Low admission cost to various Cambridge programs!

If you have already received a letter saying your family is directly certified to receive free or reduced-price meals, you do not need to submit an application. Give the office a call at 617.349.6858 or email Shennie Quintanilla if you are unsure whether you need to fill out an application.
