Halloween Fun
 On Halloween, our school had it's annual parade. Great fun was had by all. The fifth graders walked with their JK and K reading buddies. Even though the rain kept us inside, we had plenty of folks to cheer us on!
Fifth Grade Learning
 Earlier this month, the 5th graders participated in a cooperative learning day. We started our day with a hike at Fresh Pond and participated in a scavenger hunt. When we returned to school, students created straw towers as team building projects. It was a terrific event!
Mind Matters
 Mind Matters continues to be an exciting program at the Peabody School. Families from around Cambridge are learning to use exciting apps, do slide presentations and so much more. Thank you to Tech Goes Home for providing the resources for Peabody to offer this opportunity to the families of Cambridge.
 All School Share
This month's All School Share was a delight as always. We had music, poetry, constellation projects and more.
Meet Your First Responders
 The Peabody participated in a "Meet Your First Responders" event recently. All branches of our first responders in Cambridge attended. Families were able to experience mock CPR, Animal Rescue services and so much more. It was a great event! Thank you to Cambridge First Responders for providing this service to our community.
 Veteran's Day
The Peabody School held its annual Veteran's Day event earlier this month. As always, we honored two Service People/Veterans, Kayla Spellenberg and Wislens Exhillome. It was a beautiful day of honor, patriotism, poetry and song.

The Cambridge Community Learning Center is offering English classes, orientation about Adult Basic Education classes (GED or HiSET), as well as job training to become a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA).
