retirement
Dear Families,

Thank you to everyone who supported the Friends of Amigos this year. This year FoA funded field trips to theaters, farms, museums, historic and natural parks. Inside of school, FoA funded teacher requests for everything from video editing software to speech pathology supplies. After school, FoA helped pay for community events such as multi-cultural night and during the summer FoA organized play groups for incoming JK/K students. All this happens because all of you give your time and money. Thank you!

I want to congratulate both Brigida Jimenez and Gladys Sanon on their retirement from the Cambridge Public Schools. Both have been working to support our students for over 30 years and while we will all miss them a lot, we are excited to support them as they transition into retirement and a different pace of life! Please join me in congratulating them both.

Tuesday, June 18th is the last day of school. It is an Early Release Day and students will get out at 12:55. Report cards and next year’s homeroom placements for will be sent home on Tuesday as well. Class placement for new JK and K students will be sent out in August. If you have questions about homeroom placement, please see the April 5th newsletter.

Have a wonderful and safe summer!

Sincerely,

Sarah Bartels-Marrero
Principal

Estimadas familias,

Sinceramente,

Sarah Bartels-Marrero
Directora
