–  Celebration Day

Celebration Project
Recently, the third graders interviewed family members about what their favorite holidays were. We were treated to incredible remembrances that included Genna, Independence Day, Passover, Thanksgiving, Eid, Christmas and so much more. This third grade tradition never fails to teach us all new things about one another. Thank you to Ms. Costa, Ms. Pierce and Ms. Morello for a wonderful family event.

Hat Day

Hat Day
Each year our friend Johnny the K comes to Peabody. When he visits, we are reminded of the importance of friendship, citizenship, kindness and so much more. Johnny helps send this message through hats and song. In honor of Johnny's visit, the Peabody Community wears their silliest hats. Check out some of our fun headwear.

Peabody Pride

Peabody Pride

Peabody Pride Days is a time that our school community comes together to share our pride for our school. It is great to see the many t-shirts and sweatshirts of the Peabody School represented during these days.

Concert

JK & Kindergarten Concert
Our JK and Kindergarten Winter concert was fantastic! Thank you to Ms. Bach for leading the children in beautiful song. The annual Kinder Concert is one of the sweetest ways to enter December break.

Math Parent Workshops
Ms. Varella is organizing our upcoming Math Parent Workshops for February of 2019. She anticipates discussing common misconceptions that children have at various grade levels or bands so that families can help identify students' needs and learn strategies for tackling any misconceptions that may come up. With that said, she is asking for input regarding any specific needs that families have at this time and/or would like to see incorporated into upcoming workshops. Please feel free to email me with your thoughts and I would be happy to forward them to Ms. Varella.
