Amigos

Estimadas familias,

Atentamente,

Sarah Bartels-Marrero
Directora

Dear Families,

With our December vacation approaching, I want to remind you of our protocol for extended vacations. If you are planning to travel for an extended period of time, the principal and classroom teachers must be notified in advance of travel dates. All academic work assigned by teachers will need to be made up before, during or after travel. It is also important to recognize that students who miss significant amounts of instruction, learning and assessment may fall behind in their grades. As a school, we aim to have an overall attendance rate of 96%.

This Thursday, our 7th and 8th grade students have their fall student work exhibit. They will be presenting interactive works that illuminate the importance of civic voices and the immigration situation in the United States. We hope you will join us in celebrating the learning and work of our young people.

Have a wonderful weekend!

Sincerely,

Sarah Bartels-Marrero
Principal
