Weather and Seasons
Some of the ELL students have been learning about weather and seasons. They made examples of what happens to trees during each season using cut outs of their hands and construction paper. We used the trees to practice describing what happens to trees in each season using complete sentences.

Tiger

Tiger Rising
The 4th graders presented the projects based on the book, Tiger Rising, by Kate DiComillo.

Thank You to All families' Support
of the Book Fair
Your abundant generosity led to our best sales ever! We sold $6,102.89 in books, giving our library a boost of $1,500 to purchase new books for our collection. We will order the new books in early January, so come check them out in February!
Note: Parents are more than welcome to come and check out books under their name to bring home and share with their children. Reading together is a wonderful way to support your child's literacy growth and connect with one another.

We also started working on writing our own informational text based on the research we made about our topic.
We explored a variety of nonfiction text and discussed their text features. Read more >>
