Dear Families,
Pupusas, chicken, rice and beans. Salads, cakes and brownies. The staff appreciation lunch given by parents this year was out of this world! I have never seen the teachers happier. We had so much wonderful and delicious food to choose from and truly felt your appreciation. It is so important to take the time to appreciate one another and I thank you, our families, for such a marvelous treat!
I want to congratulate all our students who entered the Cambridge Public Library/Cambridge Tree Project Eighteenth Annual Poetry Awards! We had many winners and I hope you have the time to enjoy their poetry. The Poetry awards ceremony and reading will be held Tuesday, May 24 at 6PM in the Lecture Hall at the Main Library, 449 Broadway (next to Cambridge Rindge and Latin High School).
Next week’s assessment schedule is as follows:
- 5th and 8th grade have Science MCAS on Monday and Tuesday
- 4th and 5th grade have PARCC Math on Thursday and Friday

Estimadas familias,
Pupusas, pollo, arroz con habichuelas. Ensaladas, pasteles y bizcochitos de chocolates. ¡Este año, el almuerzo de apreciación por los maestro estuvo fuera de este mundo! No había visto a los maestros tan felices. Tuvimos tanta comida tan maravillosa y deliciosa entre que escoger gracias a su agradecimiento tan sincero. Es importante tomar el tiempo para apreciarnos mutuamente y por eso les agradezco a ustedes, familias, ¡por este festín!
Quiero felicitar a todos los estudiantes que participaron en el Certamen de Poesía de la Biblioteca Pública de Cambridge/Premios de Poesía del Décimo Octavo ProYecto Anual del Árbol. Tuvimos muchos ganadores y espero tengan tiempo para disfrutar de sus poemas. La ceremonia de premiación y lectura de poemas será el martes, 24 de mayo a las 6PM en el Salón de Lecturas en la Biblioteca Principal de Cambridge, 449 Broadway (al lado de la Escuela Cambridge Rindge and Latin High).
Itinerario de evaluaciones para la semana próxima:
- 5to y 8vo grado tienen MCAS de Ciencias el lunes y martes
- 4to y 5to grado tienen PARCC de Matemáticas el jueves y el viernes
